A short denim vest (hits at the upper waist), with a long tunic and worn-in jeans. This look can give the eye a nice break from the norm and still help accentuate your figure. This is a great look with old cowboy boots, chunky bracelets and beads. If you don’t want to feel trapped in a pair of super tight jeans, this is a cute and comfortable alternative.

They’re Back!

Short with Long

Get Vested

Throw one on and update your Western wardrobe for spring.

Vests are scouring mainstream fashion, and that’s just perfect for our western taste buds. We love when a mainstream trend is in alignment with pieces we already have in our closets. So, dust off those old vests and mix it up to capture some of the following looks.

Spring and summer are right around the corner, so don’t be afraid to dress up some denim and a white T to offset one another. A denim pencil skirt shown here by Level 99, and a pair of Corral boots help keep it western.

Add Some Color Cowgirl!

A great look for spring - a prairie skirt with matching top gives a solid color for the eye to follow from head to toe. Add turquoise beads for color and bone beads for the tone on tone look. I love adding earthy color like turquoise to a subdued look like this. It gives it a splash, but just enough to keep it looking natural.

Two solids make it right.

Usually not my favorite look, but this hat is so great and so are Whitney’s arms. This is a super cute look for a summer concert, or in between rodeo runs.

Sleeveless and a hat? Why not?

I love white tanks and t-shirts. I know, it’s becoming obvious.  We wanted to show a slightly different look with more color, stacking necklaces and adding a short vest. She’s got a great waist, and this shorter version helps show it off.

Same look, more color.

I’m just not a flower girl, but this turned out so cute. This is another tummy rester (Is that a word?). Again, if you don’t like showing your arms, buy a dress with sleeves. It’s still a great look.

Fun and flirty!
